This book examines literary developments within the field of children's literature in Zimbabwe. While the book focuses on different Zimbabwean creative writers of children's literature, special attention is paid to Stephen Alumenda's work. The book argues that Alumenda was a leading artist in Zimbabwean children's literature. It examines Alumenda's contribution to the development of children's literature in Zimbabwe.
